NurtureSource Homes helps homeowners and real estate agents sell properties more quickly and at higher prices.
Problem
Nurture Source Homes partnered with Tag Ops initially because two of their back office team members left the company. They not only needed to maintain their systems but also needed to enhance their back-office operations, as their current systems and processes were manual and time-consuming. This led to issues such as human error, duplicate entries, and inaccurate reporting.
Initially, Nurture Source was running their HR documentation out of BambooHR, payroll out of QuickBooks Payroll, Time Off calendar out of Google, and Time Keeping out of TSheets. An integration error between QB Payroll and TSheets resulted in weeks of research, auditing, and correcting between 4 different team members - costing thousands of dollars for payroll. The team was inputting their time off requests in BambooHR, which was manually entered into Google Calendar and QB Payroll. One team was tracking their time through physical paperwork, which was then manually entered into QB Payroll. The systems didn’t talk to each other and no one in the company really understood the high-level view.
Results
Tag Ops jumped in, researched the best tools to meet the needs of Nurture Source, proposed Rippling, a solution that was cheaper and more efficient, and got to implementing the system and processes. The first couple of months were spent auditing the existing data, organizing the information, and configuring the system. The following months were spent training, building reports, and ensuring that any issues were resolved.
In 5 months, Nurture Source had a new, consolidated, and standardized HR System and process. Their Time Off and Time Tracking spoke to Payroll and manual entry was a thing of the past for their back office team.
